Bhagwan Marine secures contract with the Alkimos Seawater Alliance
Leading Australian marine solutions company, Bhagwan Marine Limited (ASX: BWN) is pleased to announce the contract signing with Acciona (in alliance with the Water Corporation to form the ‘Alkimos Seawater Alliance) for the marine components of the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant (ASDP) located in Alkimos Perth.
Bhagwan will be providing critical marine support infrastructure, namely the Bhagwan Renegade (EuroTug 3010 Tug) and Sea Stryder (20m Crew Transfer Vessel) in addition to logistics co-ordination from their supply base in Henderson, Perth, to support delivering a safe and successful project for our valued client Acciona.
The ASDP project is designed to secure 150 million litres of drinking water per day in Phase I, with the ability to scale up to 100 billion litres in Phase II, with first water planned for 2028
