Leading Australian marine solutions provider, Bhagwan Marine Limited (ASX: BWN) (‘Bhagwan’ or ‘the Company’), is pleased to announce an expansion of its Port of Melbourne beacon pile replacement program.

In 2024, Bhagwan Marine was awarded a $7.9 million contract to replace 28 water-based beacon piles within the Port of Melbourne’s navigable waters of South Channel and Port Melbourne Channel. The Port of Melbourne has now extended the scope of works to include an additional 34 beacon piles across Williamstown Channel, Point Cook Reef and the Yarra River. This expansion increases the total contract value to $16.5 million.

This latest contract expansion further demonstrates Bhagwan’s strong, ongoing relationship with the Port of Melbourne, following the recent six-year renewal of its long-term marine maintenance agreement (ASX announcement dated 14 April 2025). Valued at approximately $6 million per annum, that contract, now in place until 30 June 2030, covers fixed and preventative maintenance, reactive and variable services, and minor capital works for the Port’s marine structures and aids to navigation.
